DCS has been collaborating with the Moores Cancer Center at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) Medical School to develop cancer information materials for persons who are Deaf or hard of hearing. This project has developed a set of videos about several of the most common types of cancer, how to identify them, what the treatments are, and other useful information. These videos are in sign language, with captions and with voice-over so that they can be accessible to a wide variety of persons.
